Blooming lovely growth for an SME

When an Essex-based plant nursery was looking to boost its sales and marketing, I suggested introducing a monthly CRM newsletter, with featured plants, hints and tips, to improve clicks through to their website and showcase the business owner’s incredible expertise and one of their USPs. Within a few weeks, the newsletter had built up to 730 recipients, with a 50% open rate – the industry average being somewhere around 14% – growing to 4,900 recipients over a few years. The nursery’s web sales are now much stronger averaging at around 30% up from 4% when their website was first launched. The monthly newsletter is still growing strong, and is maintaining the momentum between good marketing and sales figures.
